Dr. Himesh R. Gandhi is an Uro-oncologist and an established Robotic Surgeon. He started the robotic Uro-oncology program in Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune by doing the first case of Robotic Radical Prostatectomy in the city. He is a proficient Robotic surgeon and has been doing all uro- oncological and reconstructive surgeries, robotically. His field of specialty is Robotic Uro-oncology and has performed more than 100 robotic surgeries (namely Robotic Partial Nephrectomies, Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, Robotic Radical Cystectomies, Robotic Radical Nephrectomies and also many complex reconstructive surgeries). He also has an immense experience as a laparoscopic surgeon with adequate exposure in doing Lap. Donor Nephrectomies, Lap. Adrenalectomy, Lap. Pyeloplasty, Lap. Ureterolithotomy, Lap. Ureteric Reimplantation etc. He is also a good Endourologist with special expertise in Laser Prostatectomies and other endo-urological procedures. He believes in a comprehensive cancer care using multimodality approach and latest technologies available for the best possible cancer management of patients.

- He was selected by Urology Society of India for Singapore travel fellowship to attend Urology Resident Course, Singapore in 2014.
- He is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Urological Society of India (USI), Singapore Urological Association (SUA), Urological Association of Asia (UAA) and Robotic Surgeons Council of India (RSCI).
- In 2015, he presented his original research work in Annual American Urological Association (AUA), New Orleans, USA in which he received the Best Paper Award for the same in Kidney Cancer category session II.
Education
- He Completed His MBBS degree from the Government Medical College, Surat, Gujarat in 2007
- Completed His MS General Surgery degree from the BPKIHS (India-Nepal partnership project), Dharan, Nepal in 2011.
- he did his M.Ch. Urology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala in 2015.
- he pursued his clinical fellowship in Minimal Invasive Urological Surgery and Robotic Surgery for a year in Singapore (2016-2017)
